The report of the Court of Baronessa Violeta and Praetoria Aurelia Argentia Prima, ninth Baronage of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, held on the 8th day of June Anno Societatis 59 at the Equestrian Champs and Guild Hall in the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, as recorded by Gwendolyn the Graceful, Brehyres, Meistr-y-gân, Comet Pursuivant.
Their Excellencies invited Hara-Shonagon Kikumatsu, event steward, to address the populace. She thanked everyone for attending that day and issued thanks to all the guilds and Lady Finé Failain for organizing, to The Honorable Lady Elss and all who assisted with lunch, for the staff, those who helped set up, and the tear-down crew to come.
Following this, Their Excellencies welcomed the Moneyers' Guild, represented by Duke Thomas Byron of Haverford, who presented Their Excellencies with the coins struck by those who visited their guild tent during the day.
Next, Their Excellencies desired that The Honorable Lady Gesa von Wellenstein and the Equestrian guild to discuss the day's competitions. There were three equestrian events during the day: Mounted Archery, run by Lord Yarden; Equestrian Games; and Jousting. Of these, Lord Yarden won the Mounted Archery, but he presented to Bran Riddl the arrows as prize for coming in second. The Honorable Lady Gesa took first place in the Games and the Equestrian pursuits overall and was thus declared the Champion. The Equestrians also thanked their ground crew: Lady Elinor Walden, The Honorable Lord Godzimir the Golden, and Lord Tulough Feolain. Championship scroll by The Honorable Lady Gesa von Wellenstein.
Their Excellencies then awarded Lord Yarden with the scroll commemorating his win in archery, by The Honorable Lady Gesa von Wellenstein.
Their Excellencies invited forward all volunteers and everyone who assisted with a guild booth to receive one of the Baronial coins. Her Excellency Violeta also thanked everyone whom she or Her Excellency Prima observed throughout the day, speaking to the public, assisting with the office of chatelaine, and representing the Barony and the Society so well.
There being no further business, the Court of Their Excellencies was closed.
Faithfully submitted,
Gwendolyn the Graceful, Brehyres
Comet Pursuivant
