Seven Pearls Tournament
August 24, AS LIX (2024)

The report of the Court of Baronessa Violeta and Praetoria Aurelia Argentia Prima, ninth Baronage of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands, held on the 24th day of August Anno Societatis 59 at the Seven Pearls Tournament held in the Shire of Steltonwald, as recorded by Gwendolyn the Graceful, Brehyres, Meistr-y-gân, Comet Pursuivant.

Upon his victory in the Heavy Armored Combat tournament, Their Excellencies desired to be attended by The Honorable Lord Rouland of Willowbrooke. With gratitude for His Lordship's steadfast dedication to the heavy combat community and his prowess with the sword, Their Excellencies awarded him a Hematite Comet. Scroll by The Honorable Lady Nichola Beese.

Court suspended.

In the afternoon, Their Excellencies thanked the Autocrat, The Honorable Lady Elinor Walden, for the well-run and splendid day Her Ladyship planned and executed.

Their Excellencies then gave leave to their cousins, the Baronage of Thescorre, to open their court.

Upon the conclusion of the presentation of the Seven Pearls Champions' competition winners, Their Excellencies resumed court to dispatch a piece of business that had been pending for some time, and thus called Kumagaya Shō roku-i Kentarou Masamoto to attend them. They had spoken with His Lordship and his family about their desire to be named official members of the Barony; however, before they granted this request, Their Excellencies had long wished to acknowledge His Lordship's contributions and support to the Barony while not a member of it. They awarded him a Jade Comet for this, before calling for Lady Sile inghean Chein, Leonardo Piccolo, and Killian the Young, to formally recognize them as members of the Barony. Jade Comet scroll (forthcoming) by Baron Sasson de Sacta Victoria.

Next, Their Excellencies invited Lord Sabastian Mora and Isabel de Herrera to come forward. With Their Excellencies' collusion, Isabel addressed Lord Sabastian with prepared remarks, culminating in presenting him with a ring and a proposal of marriage. (He said yes!) Commemorative proposal scroll by The Honorable Lady Lisabetta de Rossi.

Court suspended.

At the end of the feast, Their Excellencies thanked the cooks and most especially desired to be attended by Lady Kattera Doplerin. Noting that this was not the first time she had provided excellent fare for the Barony and its guests, and that she could be found often in support of others in their kitchens, Their Excellencies awarded her an Amber Comet to recognize her service. Scroll illuminated by Lord Sean O'Connor with calligraphy and words by Mistress Graidhne ni Ruaidh.

There being no further business, the Court of Their Excellencies was closed.

Faithfully submitted,

Gwendolyn the Graceful, Brehyres

Comet Pursuivant
